Moyle District Council
The project involved TIDES designing and then delivering training solution that
allow the key stands within the Good Relations and Diversity to be delivered
across all grades of staff. This training package evolved into a two-strand vehicle
delivered within a half-day workshop format allowing for appropriate variation and
relevance factors to be sensitively structured meeting specific departmental needs.
This phase of the contract was completed at the end of January. Our pre and post
programme evaluations are currently demonstrating a nearly 70% increase in the levels
of staff awareness being reported as a result of the training programme.
The second phase of this project which is currently ongoing is focussed on TIDES
auditing each department within the Council on how they feel Moyle may best facilitate
a culture of tolerance, to allow diversity to evolve as a relevant part of each member of
staff's personal competencies. Our audit report will be presented to the Chief Executive
around mid March 2006.
