Hailing from the north east of Scotland Shona Borthwick has studied a bachelor of Divinity
at Edinburgh University (BD Hons), and studied a Post Graduate in Education with particular
interest in Behaviour Management.

Shona has also worked with the homeless in outreach facilities and day centres as well as
teaching in her home country.

Moving across the water she volunteered at Corrymeela Community in Belfast and
Ballycastle as Schools Youth Worker and in the area of Cross Community
Residential Work developing single identity behaviour modification programmes.

Shona has now also been involved in Teacher Training, offering courses in Circle Time and
dealing with controversial issues. More recently she has worked with TIDES in
Macedonia,Montenegro, Kosovo and Croatia on Conflict Management programmes and in
co-ordination with TIDES' Training Director aided facilitation of the 'Training Of Trainers'
Course held locally in Northern Ireland.
