Projects

DARE to Lead Change

DARE (Dialogues About Race and Ethnicity) is about facilitating conversations about cutural, racial and ethnic diversity in Northern Ireland.

We are delighted to partner with Bryson Intercultural on this programme. Find out more information on their website here.

Our two DARE staff members are Carole Kane (Derry/Londonderry based) and Iulia Picu-Iwaisi (Belfast based).

Building Relationships in Communities

The bric project began in 2010 and was active in over 80 locations across Northern Ireland until September 2014. It was delivered and implemented through a partnership approach by the Rural Development Council (RDC), the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE) and TIDES.

Together, these partners worked to empower NIHE staff by encouraging them to promote a greater degree of sharing within the segregated social housing market and the project aimed to put good relations at the heart of social housing.

Northern Ireland PEACE Programme

TIDES have successfully achieved European funding through PEACE I, PEACE II and PEACE III.

Establishment of Training of Trainers

TIDES began their programme of training individuals and communities working within community relations in 2001. It created opportunities for people to further develop their skills in facilitation, advanced group work and training.
